This is critical to achieve the highest NRR rating and protect your hearing. 2. Compress the foam tip by rolling between your fingers. Quickly insert compressed foam tip into your ear before it expands and seals the ear canal. Hold in place for approximately 10 seconds to ensure the tip expands and seals the ear canal. 3.Test this with the headphone turned off: clap your hands and listen to the sound level.
