Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 4, 2026

ElectronixZone ("we," "us," or "our") operates electronixzone.com (the "Site"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have — including specific rights for visitors in the European Union (EU), European Economic Area (EEA), and United Kingdom (UK) under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR.

If you have questions about this policy, contact us at [email protected].

Who we are

ElectronixZone is operated from the United States. Our audience is worldwide, and this policy applies to all visitors regardless of location. Where GDPR or UK GDPR gives you stronger or different rights than described generally below, the section "Your rights under GDPR / UK GDPR" applies to you.

Information we collect

We collect information in three ways:

1. Newsletter signups. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address through Beehiiv, our email newsletter provider. Beehiiv processes this data on our behalf under its own privacy policy, available at beehiiv.com. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email we send.

2. Comments. If you post a comment on a tutorial or newsletter page, we collect the name you provide, your comment text, and the time you posted it. We may also collect your IP address and/or an email address if our comment system requires one, solely to prevent spam and abuse. Comments are publicly visible on the Site once posted.

3. Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site — pages viewed, time on site, general location (country/region level), device and browser type, and referring sites. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to do this. We do not use this data to identify you personally. Google's own privacy practices are described at policies.google.com/privacy.

We do not otherwise collect personal information unless you provide it to us directly (for example, by emailing us).

Cookies

Our Site uses cookies set by Google Analytics for the purposes described above. YouTube videos on the Site are embedded in "privacy-enhanced mode" (youtube-nocookie.com), which does not set tracking cookies unless you press play and interact with the video player.

This site uses cookies, including Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use it. By continuing to use the Site, you accept the use of cookies as described in this policy. You can change your cookie preferences at any time via your browser settings.

Affiliate links

Some pages on the Site contain affiliate links, including to Amazon, Walmart, and other retailers through the FlexOffers affiliate network. If you click one of these links and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Clicking an affiliate link takes you to a third-party website; that site's own privacy policy and data practices apply to you once you leave our Site, not this one.

As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.

How we use information

We use the information described above to:

  • Deliver the newsletter you signed up for
  • Display and moderate comments
  • Understand and improve the Site through aggregate analytics
  • Respond to you if you contact us
  • Detect and prevent spam or abuse

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties except the service providers named in this policy (Beehiiv, Google Analytics) who process it on our behalf to provide their service.

How long we keep information

  • Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe.
  • Comments are kept indefinitely as part of the public page, unless you ask us to remove one (contact us).
  • Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' default retention settings.

Your rights under GDPR / UK GDPR

If you are located in the EU, EEA, or UK, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Delete your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Restrict or object to our processing of your data
  • Data portability — receive your data in a portable format
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent (such as analytics cookies)

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will respond within the timeframe required by law. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Our legal basis for processing your data is: consent (newsletter signup, analytics cookies for EU/UK visitors) and legitimate interest (basic site security, spam prevention, aggregate non-EU analytics).

Your rights under CCPA (California residents)

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, request its deletion, and opt out of its "sale" (we do not sell personal information). Contact us at [email protected] to make a request.

Children's privacy

The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the revised policy.
