About ElectronixZone
ElectronixZone is an independent resource for running AI and self-hosted software on your own hardware — local LLMs, AI media generation, home networking, and the growing world of self-hosted apps, alongside the tools and systems work that makes it all run. No sponsored rankings, no theoretical benchmarks pulled from a spec sheet: everything here is tested on real hardware before it's published.
How we test. Every tutorial and benchmark on this site is run start to finish on our own machines before it goes live — install steps, VRAM usage, throughput numbers, the works. If a guide says a model runs at a certain speed on a certain card, that number came from actually running it, not from a manufacturer's claim or someone else's blog post.
The rig. We test across multiple configurations — different GPUs, different builds, different amounts of VRAM — not just one setup. Every tutorial notes exactly which hardware it was verified on, so you know what to expect on your own setup, whatever you're running.
What we cover. This started as a site about running local LLMs on your own GPU. It's grown from there: AI media generation (image, video, voice), the systems and environment work underneath it all (OS setup, virtualization, containers, networking), self-hosted applications that have nothing to do with AI on their own (VoIP, hosting panels, productivity tools), and — because it's part of the real picture — honest comparisons with paid AI services too. The throughline is the same as it's always been: things you run yourself, tested before we tell you how.
Why this exists. Running software on your own terms — your own GPU, your own server, your own infrastructure — usually means digging through scattered forum threads, outdated docs, and conflicting claims. ElectronixZone exists to be the place that's already done that digging: tested, current, and written by people who actually ran the commands.
